"He has good things in store, kapit ka lang!"
When I was only 15 years old, a friend of mine had always reassured me with these words, that God is in control and moreover that He has good things in store. I can recall nodding in agreement but not fully allowing it to resonate with me deeply- simply because I did not have the faith to really believe. As I started attending church more and going to youth groups, I started to understand why God is good and that He surely means what He promises us.
I learned that I sometimes process everything through my own beliefs, morals and values hence why I lack to open myself up deeper into the word of God the more I read the word of God and surrounded myself with faith filled believers, I grew deeper in my faith and understanding of who God is. I have come to this conclusion that God is good. I have held unto nothing else more than just Jesus. Life as we all know it, is not perfect. We will go through trials, tribulations and face difficult situations. I have found myself in situations where I was dumbfounded, confused and couldn't find the right words to string together to explain how I really felt that was when I learned how to turn to Jesus and to abide in Him.
I hope that whatever it is that you are looking for that will help aid and heal your broken heart- I pray you find it in the Lord. When I think upon Christmas, I think about Salvation and the mercy of God. I praise God for His kindness and compassion towards us.
So my friend, Kapit ka lang. Nothing is impossible with Jesus.
